Natasja Douma

Music makes you feel alive

Music you feel in your toes

Music you feel from your hair

down to the tips of your feet

Between notes
and silence

Natasja Douma received her first piano lessons from her grandmother, the concert pianist Roeli Schijf-Verhoog, and studied with Jan Wijn at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Today she is a much sought-after duo partner, chamber musician and accompanist — on stages across Europe and on television in Podium Klassiek.

Whether a song recital, a cello sonata or a masterclass — she searches for the tone that makes you feel alive, where music ends and silence begins.
